Maddy is 5 months old today & she got to eat her first real food! I was prepared for a huge mess but our little angel just ate her food neatly & didn't complain one bit!

Exploring the Great Outdoors
For the 4th of July, we decided to take a scenic drive in the Cascades. After we drove past miles and miles of roadside campers (literally...people had their tents pitched and fires blazing right next to the highway!!!!) and thought we would end up joining them along the roadside for lunch, we found this really great private place for our picnic. Maddy even got to test out her new ride!
Get that camera out of my face!!! I am trying to ENJOY my day in the forest!
On the way home, Maddy needed a little company in the back seat of the car so I hung out with her for awhile. She actually took her pacifier although she seemed to have not gotten the memo about the part she is supposed to be sucking on!
"No Mom, YOU FORGOT to give me the memo!!!" (Note "The Finger")
