Outings are so much more fun when we can savor them through the children's eyes.

Maddy, Robby and I decided to go to the aquarium today. We had a lot of fun looking at all the fish and sea life. Maddy enjoyed being able to touch some of the fish in the touch pool. She was very excited the whole time we were there and ran everywhere we went.

The weather ended up being nice so we stopped by the beach on our way home. Robby was in sand heaven! Surprisingly he didn't eat any sand but he did try to eat a few sticks. He just seemed so happy squishing the sand in his hands and getting as much sand on him (and crammed into his fat rolls) as possible! Maddy made sand angels and danced on the beach. We had a wonderful time!

Existence is random. Has no pattern save what we imagine after staring at it for too long. No meaning save what we choose to impose.

Robby is standing up now. He sure is growing fast!

Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party!"

When we go for walks Maddy now runs instead of sitting in the stroller. The girl can run all the way around the block which is about 3/4 of a mile. She only stops to get a drink and to smell the flowers. We had fun after our walk making crazy hopscotch and spent a lot of time going around and around counting to 20. Today she got a new Dora fishing pole which Ron helped her learn how to use. She's is very excited to get out and do some real fishing!

Robby is sitting up very well by himself and is enjoying destroying everything in his path. One of his favorite games is taking all the magnets off the fridge. He also enjoys playing with all of Maddy's dishes in her play kitchen. He is still just army crawling but is very quick. I can barely keep up with him scooting from room to room leaving nothing but destruction behind him.
